- Those who are considering LoA or transfer to other schools, 

SAIC is a double-sided sword.

You can take up to 5 years of LoA without getting kicked out of the school. As far as your grade is solid (important for people with scholarships) and withdrew classes officially, SAIC is very generous about students taking LoA. There is no right or wrong answer for art and that might stress you out. Or you are just exhausted and 'burnt-out' from always trying to be creative and original. 

Take a break, travel around and inspire yourself.

SAIC's credit/no-credit system really does mess you up with filing documentations when you try to transfer to other schools or take classes outside of the campus.  Having no GPA whatsoever, you always got to contact the other schools' registration offices individually, every single time, explaining SAIC's uniqueness regarding the grading system. 

Having no letter grades or GPA might ease you from stress while you are in the school, but it's a bitch outside of the school.
